Originally known as Don Dorrigo, from the aboriginal Dundurrigo.
1932 Opened, being a transfer of Branch from North Dorrigo.
1934 Listed in Century of Banking together with Receiving Office at North Dorrigo.
1943 branch closed and
1946 re-opened with A B Longmuir as Manager (Current Accounts January 1978).
 
1964 This photo is reproduced from Current Accounts, July, 1964.  It depicts the Branch decorated for Dorrigo's Dahlia Week and was awarded a prize in the "Most Original Window" section.  Staff are identified, left to right, as: R.D. Dare (Manager), S.W. McLean (Junior), Yvonne McKay (General Hand), I.C. Coombs, (Ledgerkeeper) and I. Robertson (Teller-Accountant).
1982 April 27 Dorrigo Audit Report "Customer and staff areas inadequate in size. Interior & exterior require repainting. Windows difficuklt to clean. Staff amenities cramped. No lunch table or chairs.  Manager intends to recommend close in northern ground floor area to accommodate new staff room & new managers office, extend enquiry counter to present managers room, cut doorway from managers room into new managers office, rearrange office to provide more customer room and a 2nd tellers box, extend rear door to provide more working space and new terminal area, cut doorway to new staff room." First branch at 62 Hickory Street, now the offices of Barwick Stevens Lawyers.
2nd CBC Dorrigo branch, now nab, on corner of Hickory & Cudgery Streets, having been relocated from previous premises.  John Beer advises that
49 Hickory St is where nab is in 2008.

1922 Opened.
1924 the Manager of the Branch was a son of G B Mosman,  Manager of Bellingen branch, reported by Geoff Chapman.
1932 Branch moved to Dorrigo (Current Accounts January 1978).
1934 Listed in A Century of Banking as North Dorrigo Receiving Office of Dorrigo.

Following closure of the branch, it was for many years used as a private residence.
2008 October Geoff Chapman ascertained that it has now been demolished and a new home erected on the site.

2008 December Geoff Chapman advised "Dorrigo North is now a pleasant purely residential village, located on the outskirts of Dorrigo, and is surrounded by highly productive grazing and farming country"
