Officers Provident Fund:

Kerry O'Connor rang Bob Handel and advised that as of 30.06.09 there were still 33 members of the CBC Officers Provident Fund.
Last year there were 39.
 

Functions:

1.    HORN OF PLENTY GET-TOGETHER

The club has decided to formalise arrangements for these get-togethers by holding its meetings on the second Wednesday  each four months (three times per annum) in February, May, August and November.

So - no excuses for the diary - ENTER DATES NOW - and bring along a friend from the Bank as well !!

DIANE PLUNKETT

Noirin Griffin of nab Albury enquired via the website if we had any photos of Lockhart branch where Dianne was stationed in 1975.  She has been in the bank for 35 years and currently at Albury.  They reproduced some of the photos and the article and had it framed and presented it to Diane today 10/12/08 (yes it was Diane Plunkett now Diane Bartsch).

QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY HONOURS

Keven Meyer OAM, St. Ives - Medal of the Order of Australia.
Marsden Hordern, an old customer of the bank, aged 87, who told me he remembered the inlaid table in the Board Room at London Officer where he once was invited to lunch also received an OAM for his work on World War II memorabilia in the New Year honours.
